Our Properties in Somerset

Come on down to the West Country, come to Somerset for a large group holiday that you’ll never forget.
It’s a fact: Somerset is undeniably beautiful; it’s a land of rich pastures, softly rolling hills, and winding country lanes that lead you to idyllic little villages with old cottages, farmsteads, and usually, a friendly pub where you can pull up for a laid back lunch and a chat with the locals. You’ll find attractive market towns to browse; Ilminster, Wellington and Frome each have their charm.
It’s surprising how much of Somerset is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; Exmoor National Park is of course, but also the hill ranges – the Quantocks, the Blackdowns and the Mendips. They all have their appeal and equally alluring is the enchanting watery expanse of the Somerset Levels, famous worldwide for the festival at Glastonbury and the mystical Tor.
Along Somerset’s coastline you’ll find some very diverse beaches; at Weston-Super-Mare and Minehead there are wide sands that are hard to beat for family fun, at Kilve it’s great for rockpooling and fossil hunting, and then there are the wild windswept bays of East Quantoxhead and the quiet harbours of Porlock and Watchet. Take your pick, it's all there for you.
If you want to do some serious shopping you’ll have to go to Taunton, the country town, to Bath with its Georgian architecture and Roman history, or to Bristol with its upbeat vibe. If you like history, go and see Dunster Castle, Montacute House and Wells Cathedral; nearby the cobbled Vicars’ Close is believed to be the only inhabited medieval street in England. Get that.
Get out there and discover this gorgeous county for yourself. You’ll love it.
