Pick a large group holiday home with an indoor swimming pool and you know you're onto a winner. It doesn't matter what the weather's up to, everyone will be happy splashing about inside, young and old alike. And the beauty is that if the old sun decides to pop his head out, as most of our pool halls have big bi-fold doors, all you have to do is pull 'em back and let the summer in' bring it on! And don't think that such a luxury means expensive, because it doesn't - when you split the cost between all members of your party it works out at less than the price of a decent hotel per person; great value, great fun.
Let's have a little look at some of the fantastic big group holiday houses we have with indoor pools, but don't forget they all have other amazing facilities like hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, games rooms, BBQ lodges and play equipment for the young 'uns. Pools are usually a constant depth of 1.2 metres so there's no deep end to fret about, and it means you don't even need to be a good swimmer - just get in and lark around, enjoy yourself, live in the moment. More often than not there are floats and water toys, so get in with the kids and make the most of it. There's nearly always room around the pool for loungers so when you fancy a break you can just get out and relax for a bit. And our pools are safe - chlorine levels in our pools are monitored on a very regular basis and kept within the recommended safe amounts; there are often showers within the pool hall, or close by, and we aim for a nonslip floor around the pool, though it's not always 100% possible, so make sure you take suitable footwear, like flipflops. It's like anything, employ common sense and you'll have a whale of a time, if you'll excuse the pun.
