We like to give all of our luxury large group holiday houses a name that’s unique to Group Stays, so the property formerly known as Viney Hill Country House is now called Harbrook Grange. Everything else stays the same – still the same amazing house that sleeps up to 18 in 8 bedrooms, a year round heated pool, games room, BBQ lodge and children’s play area!
The name has changed but that’s all – we chose Harbrook Grange after the Har Brook that flows close to this group holiday house on the edge of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. We like it – it suits!
This is a fantastic house for holidays and celebrations with family and friends any time of year because there’s so much to keep you happy whatever the weather’s doing. The covered pool can be used in all seasons, the games room has a pool table and table football, and even if it’s blowing a hooley you can still slip off to the Nordic style BBQ lodge to gather beneath the fairy lights all nice and cosy and toast marshmallows or cook up something seriously tasty.
On the doorstep are footpaths and cycling trails that take you deep into the forest; there are watersports and boat trips on the River Wye, family attractions like Clearwell Caves, Perrygrove railway and the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo within a short drive, and plenty of welcoming country inns where you can book a table and tuck into hearty homemade fare.
