We hope the following information will help you plan your stay at Bumbles. Please also see our House Rules.

Address: This can be found within your booking once you have secured your holiday.

BBQ: 2 x charcoal barbecues for use year round. Fuel is not provided but can be purchased from the onsite ‘shop’. These are stored centrally on the estate, to be collected and returned clean at the end of your stay.

Bed Linen and Towels: Duvets and pillows (these are feather filled; hypo allergenic bedding is available on request) bed linen, cot mattress protector and sheet, bath robes for week long stays (double bedrooms only), towels and towels for use with the hot tubs and onsite pool are provided.

Check In Details: This information can be accessed within your booking 4 weeks before your stay. Check in time - 4pm. Check out time – 9:30am.

Coffee Machine: Ground coffee machine with a welcome bag of coffee supplied. 3 cafetieres.

Cots: 4 full size cots available on request. These are for infants aged 2 years and under. 

Decorations: Please be respectful if you wish to decorate the property for a special occasion. Guests must not bring balloons with glitter into the property or garden and must not stick anything to walls, fixtures or furnishings.

Departure: Please see When You Leave Your Group Stays Holiday House.

Directions: These can be found within your booking information after you have secured your holiday.

Dogs: 6 dogs welcome (small charge per pet). Please ensure you have read our Group Stays Dog Rules before planning to bring your pet.

The garden is not secure so children and dogs must be supervised at all times

Electric Vehicle Charging: There are multiple 22khw fast charging units on the estate. The nearest is at the bottom of the drive, approximately 20m from the house. Chargers are activated by your house key fob and payment is made to the owner at the end of your stay. Extension leads cannot be used (charging cable to plug only). Due to insurance restrictions guests will not be able to use cables or extension leads from the domestic power supply to charge vehicles. Please see Electric Vehicle Charging at Holiday Homes for important information.

Essentials: Enough crockery and cutlery for a dinner party, glasses (wine, champagne, tumblers, hi-ball, pint, plastic wine ‘glasses’ for use with hot tub). 
Initial supplies* of the following: at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, a dish cloth and scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, washing powder, hand soap.
Body wash and shampoo. Hairdryers in all double bedrooms. Iron and ironing board.

*These items are not necessarily provided for the whole of your stay - you may need to buy more.

Features: Private hot tub, games room.

Guests also have access to the 20 acre estate with an indoor pool (open 7am-9pm daily, Fridays 4pm-9pm), outdoor play area, indoor soft play, communal games room, football, badminton, tennis, croquet, boules, cricket, pitch and putt course, trampoline, firepit, kitchen garden, animals to see, dog walking fields, meadows, woodlands, streams, ponds and orchards, and The Lookout for yoga or relaxation. There are 5 other holiday cottages on the estate.

Food Deliveries: Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, and COOK will deliver to this property. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival. We recommend that you put your name and mobile number on the delivery information.

Games Room/Garden Room: This has table tennis and table football.

Garden: South facing terrace with hot tub, outdoor furniture, and bbq.

Guests: This property sleeps 15 guests in 8 bedrooms. 2 extra guest beds are available at an additional charge each. Please see the Floor Plans for details.

Highchairs: 2 available on request.

Hot Tub: This is on the south facing terrace. It seats 8.

An additional hot tub seating 6 can be booked for this property for an extra charge, with at least 48 hours notice.

Kitchen/Utility: 

Georgian Part: Electric range cooker with 2 ovens, grill and warming oven, 5 ring induction hob, US style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine.

Older Part: Electric range cooker with double oven, grill and warming oven, 5 ring electric hob, full height fridge, under counter freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine.

Music: Bluetooth speakers in both living rooms. Note that, as per our Terms and Conditions, no additional amplification equipment can be brought to this property.

Parking: You can unload at the property, but must then park in the car park at the entrance to the site where there is room for several vehicles. Guests with mobility issues can park 1 car by the house on request.

Rooms:

Georgian Part: 5 bedrooms (2 ensuite), family bathroom, kitchen, dining room, drawing room, snug, games room/garden room, laundry room, WC.

Older Part: 3 bedrooms (2 ensuite), family bathroom, kitchen, living room/dining room.

Room Configurations: 

Georgian Part: Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king size beds and ensuite shower rooms, Bedrooms 3 and 4 have twin beds. Bedroom 5 has a single bed. 2 extra guest beds are available at an extra charge each; these can be accommodated in Bedrooms 1-3.

Older Part: Bedroom 1 has a super king bed, Bedroom 2 has twin beds, Bedroom 3 has zip and link beds (king or twin).

Stairgates: Stairgates available on request. 

TVs: There are Smart TVs in both living rooms and the snug, with access to streaming sites (own passwords required).

Wifi: Starlink.

Wood-burner: There is a wood-burner in both living rooms and in the dining room. These can be used year round. Logs are not provided but can be purchased in the onsite ‘shop’.

Please note that the following applies as per our Terms & Conditions and House Rules: No noise after 11pm (consideration for neighbouring properties) - no smoking or vaping – no candles, open flames, disposable barbecues, fireworks, lanterns or drones – personal electrical items must not be left charging unattended nor devices left plugged in whilst away from the property - appliances such as washing machines and cooking equipment should not be left running whilst away from the property – electrical items must only be used according to manufacturer’s instructions – personal extension leads and adapter blocks should not be used.
