You should see us lot here in the office! We’ve been doing our happy dances every time we leave our desks this morning because we are so excited to be adding Jays Roost to our collection of luxury large group holiday houses in the UK. Read on and you'll see why.
This is one big and beautiful holiday house that will 100 per cent see you right for any kind of large group stay. Come for days away with friends and family, come for peaceful celebrations with your favourite people, come for elegant hen weekends, private spa breaks, or corporate breaks. You will love it, and so will everyone else in your group. That is a definite because no one (and we mean no one) is going to be left out; Jays Roost is family friendly, access friendly and dog friendly.
You see, there’s so much to love about Jays Roost. The setting is absolutely glorious, tucked away out round the high hedged lanes, deep in the Somerset countryside, on a 180 acre organic working farm. Can you imagine! The breathtaking scenery, an abundance of fresh air, birds merrily chirruping – the peace and quiet, the seclusion; it’s wonderful! If a country escape is what you’re after, this is it.
The accommodation is spread over 2 gorgeous neighbouring houses that come with oodles of homeliness and all the creature comforts you could need. 10 bedrooms sleep 20 guests, 7 of them are ensuite, and there’s room for 3 extra guest beds at an additional charge each. There are welcoming living spaces, well-equipped kitchens, a covered games area, and wait for it, wait for it – A PRIVATE SPA HALL WITH A HEATED POOL, HOT TUB AND SAUNA!
Oops, forgive us, we got a bit shouty there! But this place really is something to shout about, it’s got all the bells and whistles – like, even a dog shower! And the gardens are magical, with paths that meander and surprises round every corner; flowers dance in the gentlest of breezes, butterflies tango in the air, and the views roll on for miles across the unspoilt landscape. It really feels like a world of your own, and all those bad things that are going on out there can be forgotten for a while.
Honestly, it’s such a delight to stay here, there’s so much to keep you smiling your very biggest smiles. Explore the fields and the woodlands, take off your socks and shoes and have a little paddle in the stream, build a camp in the woods, go on a bug hunt, be as quiet as can be and you might just see the resident wildlife – foxes, badgers, rabbits and deer!
There’s more of course, lots more, but we have to leave some surprises. And there they are, waiting to be discovered when you come and stay. Oh, what fun you’ll have, how happy you’ll be, how the laughter will ring out and the memories… well, they’ll be yours forever.
