A stone’s throw from the beautiful Malvern Hills and close to the pretty towns of Great Malvern and Bromyard, Gooseybank is a lovely place to stay for large group holidays in the UK. The house works particularly well for groups of families with younger children as most of the bedrooms sleep more than 2, and for family celebrations or wellness retreats if you hire the Gathering Barn/Yoga Studio (extra charge, by arrangement with the owner).

With a hot tub, games room and a lovely big garden to wander, we understand if you’re happy to spend every minute of your stay right here, but hey, this is such a beautiful part of the world, so venturing out into the local area is a good thing. Beyond the garden gate there are meadows to stroll through, woodlands to explore, and animals to say hello to. Put on your sensible shoes and go see; much of the farm has been rewilded so nature is all around – bees buzzing, butterflies flitting, birds chirruping, flowers dancing in the breeze, and native wildlife making a home here.

Go on a farm tour with the owners, ride a tractor, feed the pigs, learn about bee keeping and pony care; watch beautiful sunsets, stay out ‘til after dark when these big open skies offer amazing star gazing opportunities. And you won’t have to go far to find exciting activities like ice skating, horse riding and wild swimming.

Head into Great Malvern for a fun-filled session at Malvern Splash Leisure Complex, browse the picturesque Victorian spa town with its independent shops, boutiques and galleries, allow time to fill your bellies in one of the many eateries – The Nags Head is good for pub food, Peppe’s is great for Italian. Closer to home The Red Lion at Cradley is popular for Greek and Mediterranean food.

Head off for a day in the glorious Malvern Hills, go for a hike across the high ridges, puff your way to the top of historic hill forts, unleash your sense of adventure cycling, rock climbing or even paragliding. Like big country houses? Then visit Madresfield, the inspiration for Evelyn Waugh’s 'Brideshead Revisited', go to Eastnor Castle or Brockhampton Estate. Hunker off to Hereford to discover the city and its medieval cathedral where you can see the world famous Mappi Mundi and the 17^th century Chained Library.

The farm runs a small events venue for weddings and functions on some weekends from June to September. The venue is sited on the far side of the farm and events are run in line with licensing laws, but guests staying at Gooseybank may occasionally hear the music. Depending on the event, guests may be able to attend events for free and enjoy a bar, live music and children's activities.
