A long, long drive takes you down to the private 52 acre Farway Estate, in the heart of the East Devon National Landscape. All around are open fields, woodlands full of wildlife, passively rolling hills and views that reach on forever. The peace and quiet, the birdsong, the sunsets… this is such a special place to be.
3 former farm barns have been lovingly converted to offer luxury accommodation for groups of 20-32 people. There’s a main barn sleeping 20 in 10 ensuite bedrooms and 2 smaller barns that both sleep 6 in 3 ensuite bedrooms. Come for a weekend, for a midweek break, or for a whole week or more; rent 1, 2 or even all 3 barns. Depending on how much space you need you’ll have exclusive use or allocated slots of the heated pool, access to a games room and a play field – and then there’s the whole estate to roam!

Harcombes – This is the main barn, set over 3 floors (it’s a whopper!). Sleeps 20.
Heddinay – The main barn plus one of the smaller barns. Sleeps 26.
Ade Shindy – This is the main barn plus the other smaller barn. Sleeps 26.
Brix Barn – All 3 barns to sleep 32.
There's also a cosy Annexe for 2 that can be booked at an extra cost.
The barns are just strides apart in a courtyard setting and all have private gardens with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Want to dine all together? No problem – the main barn has an enormous open plan living space where you can gather, and there are dining tables inside and out for up to 34. At the bottom of the drive are the play field and games room, at the back of the courtyard is the open air pool.
The Farway Estate is brilliant for all ages so you might well be perfectly happy to spend every moment of your stay right here. If you want to venture forth and explore the local area, you’ll find heaps to see and do. The beaches of the Jurassic Coast are a 15 minute drive away, there are activities, family attractions, historic houses and a host of good places to eat close by.
