BBQ: Gas BBQ for use year round, with initial supply of gas provided.

Bed Linen and Towels: Duvets and pillows (feather/down - synthetic filled pillows available on request), bed linen, cot mattress sheet, bath robes, slippers, towels, and towels for use with the hot tub provided (1 for each adult). Please bring appropriate footwear for use with the hot tub. 

Check In Details: This information can be accessed within your booking 4 weeks before your stay. Check in time - 4pm. Check out time - 10am.

Cinema Room: 9 seat professional cinema room with reclining electric chairs, top quality projection, dynamic lighting, surround sound and Boombox. Access to streaming sites and FreeSat, selection of DVDs.

Coffee Machine: Nespresso DeLonghi machine with pods supplied and at least 2 cafetieres.

Cots: 1 travel cot is available on request. This is for infants aged 2 years and under.

Decorations: Please be respectful if you wish to decorate the property for a special occasion. Guests must not bring balloons with glitter into the property or garden and must not stick anything to walls, fixtures or furnishings.

Electric Vehicle Charging: 1 EV charging point for guests' use. Due to insurance restrictions guests will not be able to use outdoor plugs or cables from the house to charge vehicles (see Electric Vehicle Charging at Holiday Homes).

Essentials: Enough crockery and cutlery for a dinner party, glasses (wine glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers, high balls, gin bowls, cocktail glasses, pint glasses).
Initial supplies* of the following: at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, dish cloth, scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, 2-in-1 washing powder, hand soap.

The Glass House is set on a private estate and whilst there are other properties within the 850 acres, the house has a very secluded setting, shielded from view by the trees. There are outstanding facilities on the estate for guests’ use, including an indoor pool, spa, BBQ lodge, tennis courts, gym, outdoor activities, watersports, bike hire, walking trails, and an excellent café.

Food Deliveries: Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose and COOK will deliver to this property. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival. We recommend that you put your name and mobile number on the delivery information.

Games Room: Games room with full size snooker table, TV and bar with popcorn and candy floss machines.

Garden: Secluded lakeside garden with outdoor furniture. Wrap round split-level terrace with outdoor furniture, bbq and pizza oven, huge roof terrace with panoramic views of the lakes and beyond.

The wrap around terrace and garden are not entirely fenced and have access to open water. Children must therefore be supervised at all times.

Guests: This property sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. For more details please see the Floor Plans.

Hot Tub: The hot tub is in the spa room on the basement floor. It seats 4-5 people.

Kitchen/Utility: 4 combi ovens (SMEG gas/electric ovens, Gaggenau electric/steam ovens), 5 ring gas hob, built-in Tandoori gas oven, fridge, freezer with ice machine, wine fridge, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, washing machine, tumble dryer.

Music: Sonos integrated speakers/ceiling speakers throughout the house. Note that, as per our Terms and Conditions, no additional amplification equipment can be brought to this property.

Parking: Off road parking for 4 vehicles.

Pizza Oven: Wood fired pizza oven with an initial supply of fuel provided.

Rooms:  4 ensuite bedrooms, enormous open plan living space with 2 living rooms, dining room and kitchen, office/workspace, spa room with hot tub and dry or wet sauna, games room with full-size snooker table and bar, professional cinema room, utility room.

Room Configurations: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, Bedrooms 2-4 have doubles.

Sauna: This is in the spa room on the lower floor. It seats 4.

Stairgates: Retractable fixed stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs.

TVs: Smart TVs with access to streaming services in the TV room and games room. Whole projection wall in the living room.

Wifi: Superfast fibre.

Wood-burner: Contemporary glass-walled wood-burners in the open plan living space for use from Nov-Apr, with an initial supply of logs provided.

Please note that the following applies as per our Terms & Conditions and House Rules: No noise after 11pm (consideration for neighbouring properties) - no smoking or vaping – no candles, open flames, disposable barbecues, fireworks, lanterns or drones – personal electrical items must not be left charging unattended nor devices left plugged in whilst away from the property - appliances such as washing machines and cooking equipment should not be left running whilst away from the property – electrical items must only be used according to manufacturer’s instructions – personal extension leads and adapter blocks should not be used.
