Downstairs
The relaxed feels start as soon as you drive through the gate and park up; step inside the main house and ooh, it feels lovely and welcoming! Go round to the back of the house and into the conservatory dining room, all light and airy, with an outlook over the garden. The dining is open plan to the large and very well-equipped kitchen, leading through to the elegant lounge where neutral tones give a very restful ambience. Off the living room a lobby leads to the laundry room; on the other side of the house are Bedrooms 1 and 2, each with snooze space for 4, and a shared shower room.
Across the lawn, the glass fronted studio makes a great space for a family to sleep, or for a group of friends. It has a large bedroom (Bedroom 5) with 2 king size beds and 2 single bunks, so it sleeps 6. There’s a fridge, microwave and kettle, and a shower room.
Upstairs
Upstairs in the main house are Bedrooms 3 and 4, both sleeping 4. Bedroom 3 has a shower room right next to it, Bedroom 4 has an ensuite shower room.
The Garden
The gardens at Lively Lodge wrap around the back and one side of the house; on differing levels, there are seating areas and 2 hot tubs, on the main terrace there’s enough seating for your whole group to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine or a leisurely barbecue.
