8/10 - Great property for group of people to get together! Plenty of space and the pool was a big hit with the kids. We actually booked the week, but just the 2 of us with 2 dogs Monday to Thursday - this was to ensure the family got to maximise the weekend stay. Needed a car for walks. 10/10 - After our first booking with sleeps 12 our expectations were quite high as we booked another property this year. All 3 generations were not disappointed as the facilities were spot on. Plenty of room for 13 , beds etc lovely & clean . A kitchen that we loved & enjoyed cooking in. The pool was used daily & definitely a bonus as were the play areas for young teens down to a toddler. We spent a glorious week at cockercombe visiting places & having special family time together. - Fisher - Aug 26

10/10 - We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property the property was amazing set in the countryside very private enclosed & safe for the children lots for the children to do. We ate mostly at the property & everything was catered for I can’t think of anything that wasn’t. The BBQ was great & the swimming pool was amazing. 9/10 - Lovely time celebrating our son’s 40th. Comfortable clean beds. Everything you need to cook meals for 14 people.The tiles around the pool area could do with a deep clean, otherwise ok. Lovely views. Ages from 13 - 92 great get together. You do need a car to get around, but we stayed in the house most of the time playing games and having a great family time together. 10/10 - the house is very big yet felt extremely warm and homely, and plenty of space for everyone. More than enough kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Absolutely everything has been thought of, even plastic plates and cutlery for the little ones. My words can’t do this place justice, it was beyond expectations. I had some questions beforehand which were all quickly answered & the whole booking process was so simple. 10/10 - The lodge was so well equipped and a very relaxing place lots of outside space for a family weekend of all ages. The swimming pool was added bonus and another very memorable weekend was had by all. We did not have to venture far as we were so relaxed in the space. 10/10 - We enjoyed the layout of the house. It was perfect for our grandchildren to have a chill out zone on the landing, the grown ups could hear/see what they were up to without being visible. 10/10 - We had a fabulous stay celebrating my husband's 70th Birthday. Everyone loved the pool and great that the living room, dining and kitchen were open plan - no one felt left out. There was an abundance of crockery, glasses and kitchen equipment and very helpful to have two dishwashers. The scenery was beautiful and everything very well maintained. We would definitely like to return to explore more of the area. A very relaxing holiday in a super spacious house. - Tindall - May 25

10/10 - The large house was excellent for all our party. The pool room was lovely and warm as was the pool. We loved the fantastic kitchen with the two dishwashers, ovens and fridges. Loads of hot water and bathroom radiators for drying the towels.
Would have liked a few large platters but only because we did an afternoon tea! Also some coat hooks, please. A huge thank you to Sue, the manager, who went the extra mile when we had a problem. Would highly recommend it for family celebrations. A great location as well not too far off the M5.
