Bluewater is no ordinary holiday home; this place packs a big punch when it comes to wow factor! The style is contemporary elegance, with a high-end finish throughout and the most amazing features.
In the wide hallway a 6m waterfall mesmerizingly plays; straight ahead is the staircase, made especially for Bluewater, at the back of the room there’s a velvet chaise longue for quieter moments. A short light-filled passage leads to the cinema room, with tiered seating, big beanbags, an entire projection wall, and surround sound. There’s even a starlight ceiling, light up steps, interval lights, and to keep you company, life size superheroes.
The passage opens out into an enormous open-plan living/entertaining space overlooking the pool terrace. At one end glamorous sofas beckon; chillax in front of the fire on colder days, pop the TV on for the latest match. In the middle of the room is a glass table for happy holiday dinners and celebration feasts; at the other end the swish kitchen has a big central island where you can chat whilst you prep.
Right of the hallway is Bedroom 5, designed with accessibility in mind; it has a double bed and an adjacent shower room. Upstairs a galleried glass walkway can be clear or opaque beneath your feet at the flick of a switch; to one end is Bedroom 1 with a US king size bed and a hanging bubble chair suspended from the chunky rafters. A very comfortable Chesterfield sofa bed sleeps 2 extra guests at no additional charge, making this great for a family or friends sharing. The ensuite has a double walk-in shower and doors that open onto a balcony where there’s a stunning hammock bath, gilded with 24 carat gold leaf; the views are to love – over the pool terrace to the Somerset countryside.
Across the landing is Bedroom 2, with a US king size bed, a sofa bed for 2 extra guests, and a balcony. Bedroom 3 has a US queen size bed and an ensuite shower room, Bedroom 4, also has a US queen size bed and right opposite there’s a bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower.
Bluewater is just as amazing outside; slip down the shiny slide into the pool, swim up to the bar, take a perch and sip a mojito. The pool and marble loungers are heated for use all year round, you can soak away your worries in the hot tub, then get out and have a game of ping-pong. The outdoor kitchen has a barbecue, sear station and double fridge; so that’s succulent steaks followed by an ice cold beer – perfect!
