Open the door into the wide hallway, crisp and uncluttered, with a bespoke oak and glass staircase; straight ahead there’s a utility room, to the left is the impressive open plan kitchen/dining room. The kitchen was designed to take the stress out of catering for your group holiday, the dining table was made especially for Tip-Top and is a statement piece made of marble with a stainless steel inlay. Hire recommended private caterers to come in and cook you a feast, gather round to celebrate that momentous birthday or anniversary. If it’s warm outside pull back the floor to ceiling doors and let the sunshine roll on in.
To the right of the hall is the living room, country-modern chic with chairs and sofas to settle on, a huge TV for family movie nights and a woodburning stove for the colder times of year. Next left is Bedroom 5 with its own adjacent shower room, both created to be suitable for the less able bodied.
Upstairs off a wide galleried landing are Bedrooms 1 to 4; Bedroom 1 has an ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, the rest have ensuite shower rooms. The beds at Tip-Top are all zip and link so you can have them arranged as super kings or twins; Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have an optional extra guest bed (charged) so they make good family rooms with snooze space for 3, or arranged as 3 singles are great fun for older children sharing.
Outside a big terrace runs along the front of the house and round to the sides. This is somewhere you can really soak up the sunshine as it’s all south facing, and the views are staggering, rolling on and on across the hills forever. Ultimate relaxation is the goal at Tip-Top, this is time to make memories you’ll always treasure; laze the hours away in the swim spa, play table tennis, cook up lip smacking barbecues or perfect your stone baked pizzas. Watch the little ones having a hoot in the play area, wander up to the private pond where you can mess about in the boat or try your hand at fishing.
