In the sleepy village of Churchstow in the beautiful South Hams, Hennaways is a wonderful house for your large group summer holidays and quiet celebrations with the people you love most in the world. Inside 8 bedrooms (6 in the main house, 2 in the adjoining annexe) sleep 17 and there’s room for 3 more guests at an extra charge each. The feels are light and airy throughout the house, especially so in the big open plan kitchen and south facing orangery. There’s a very homely living room and a TV room; the self-contained annexe, with its open plan kitchen/dining/living room is perfect for a family or for grandparents who like to have their own space.
There’s so much to see and do nearby, best of all the multitude of beautiful beaches. Just 10 minutes away at Bantham you can hire surfboards or paddleboards and take to the waters – it’s one of the best surfing spots on the South Devon coast. Visit Salcombe and Kingsbridge, enjoy clifftop walks, spend a day discovering Dartmoor National Park and climb the craggy tors. There are award-winning attractions to visit within a short drive and just a 5 minute saunter down the lane is The Church House Inn.
