Fuzzy Orchard is a luxury timber-clad holiday lodge set in 2 acre grounds, surrounded by unspoilt Somerset countryside. This is a place where you can leave all your worries behind you and relax into your large group holiday; inside is spacious and stylish, bright and airy and well-equipped with something for all ages, outside there’s a BBQ lodge and covered hot tub to keep you smiling whatever the weather’s doing.
Step into the games room where there’s a pool table and table football, a big TV and French doors opening onto the patio. This is such a sociable space, right next to the kitchen and dining area; Fuzzy Orchard was thoughtfully designed for big happy holidays, for spending time together and making happy memories. The kitchen has everything you need to make catering for your large group stress free - there's a bar area and a long dining table to seat 14; if you’re celebrating a special birthday or anniversary, hire one of our recommended caterers to come and cook you up a feast, if the sun is shining throw open the doors, have cocktails out on the patio. A door at the end of the room leads through to a lobby and a utility room with laundry facilities, and to the pool hall. To one end there’s a sauna, centre place is the pool with room to one side for loungers. Huge bi-fold doors pull back to let the sunshine in, adding to the holiday vibe.
Off the games area are Bedrooms 1 and 2, both access friendly and sleeping 2 with an ensuite wet rooms. Upstairs there’s a big living room, taking full advantage of the spectacular views across the valley; the feels are calm and restful, doors open onto a glass fronted balcony, a wonderful spot to watch the sun set over the hills. To the left are Bedrooms 3 and 4 and to the right are Bedrooms 5 and 6; Bedrooms 4 and 6 have ensuite shower rooms, Bedrooms 3 and 5 have their own bathrooms with a TV in the wall at the end of the bath, and separate wet areas; both can accommodate an extra guest bed (charged). Beds at Fuzzy Orchard are all zip and link so you can have them arranged as super kings or twins.
Outside on the patio there’s garden furniture and a barbecue, and a sunken hot tub with a retractable cover so you can enjoy a good soak even if it’s raining. A short path leads to the year-round BBQ lodge where you can gather together to sizzle sausages and swap stories beneath the twinkly lights. The little ones can run about and let off steam on the lawns and have heaps of fun on and on the play equipment.
