Gather round the chunky dining table for holiday breakfasts and leisurely feasts; doors open onto the patio if you’d rather dine alfresco. Fire up the barbecue, slip into the hot tub while the steaks are gently sizzling.
Off the kitchen there’s a utility room with laundry facilities; also accessed from the courtyard it’s very handy for when you’ve been out walking in the nearby Quantock Hills and come back with wet togs and muddy dogs. To the right of the hallway are Bedrooms 3-6, bright and airy with country views. Bedroom 3 has zip and link beds, Bedroom 4 has a king size and a single bed. These rooms have shared use of a Jack and Jill bathroom that has a corner bath with an overhead shower. Bedroom 5 has a king size and a single bed, Bedroom 6 has zip and link beds; these two rooms both have access to a shared Jack and Jill shower room.
Stairs rise from the dining area to a large part-galleried living room where you can gather to chat and relax. Next door is the games room with a pool table, table football, soft seating and a TV. On from the games room is Bedroom 1, a spacious room with an ensuite shower room and snooze space for 4 in either a super king and 2 singles, or 4 singles; this is ideal for a family or for 4 older children sharing.
The gardens are at the front of the house, leading round to the side courtyard and the hot tub.
