Dreamdays is a modern holiday house with something for all ages, making it perfect for multi-generational family holidays, reunions with friends and their children, birthday and anniversary celebrations with the chosen few, and sophisticated hen weekends. The setting is the peaceful countryside of the Blackdown Hills AONB; once you’re there it’s like a world of your own with spectacular views across the open fields.
Step into a light and airy hall where to the right is a commodious living room with big fat sofas and a TV with Sky – great for family movie nights or for catching that all-important match. To the left is the kitchen/dining room, well designed with a walk-in pantry and plenty of space to cook for your large group, but most of all, this is somewhere you can all get together to chat and catch up. If you’ve got something special to celebrate, hire one of our recommended private caterers to cook for you; a table full of delicious food, your kith and kin sat round – that’s what memories are made of.
Wander through to the sun room, take in those glorious views, open the doors and step out onto the terrace. The other side of the kitchen there’s a utility room where you can leave your muddy boots when you come back from a country walk – it’s all so well thought out at Dreamdays.
Upstairs off a galleried landing are Bedrooms 1-4 and the family bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a super king bed and a single, plus room for a cot, so it’s perfect for a family. It has an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is a twin room, Bedroom 3 has a super king and a single bed, and Bedroom 4 has a king size. Bedroom 5 is on the ground floor in the annexe just across the courtyard; it has a super king and a single bed, and an ensuite shower room. Next to Bedroom 5 is the games room where you can hang out playing pool and watching TV.
At the front of the house there’s a huge terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture; this is a wonderful place to sit out on warmer days, with the beautiful countryside before you - the sunsets can be incredible. Head to the Nordic stye BBQ lodge if the weather lets you down; there’s room for all, so gather together and make merry.
At the side of the house on the pool terrace there’s a hot tub, barrel sauna and outdoor table tennis; there are even changing rooms and a wet room out here so you don’t have to walk from the house in your swimsuit! The covered and heated pool can be used any time of year and has room for loungers, so you can make believe it’s always summer! Just beyond this is a play area with a climbing frame and trampoline – expect whoops of delight! Dreamdays is one big happy place in the country!
