We are so excited to be presenting Tickety-Boo! This new holiday house for 14 with a pool will be available from August 2023 and comes with stacks of style, space and substance. There are 7 ensuite bedrooms, a games room, movie room and not just a pool, but a whole pool hall with an in-built swim spa, hot tub and sauna!
So, here it is – the newest arrival on the Group Stays scene. Tickety-Boo is a luxury holiday house that sleeps 14 and comes with copious amounts of cool. It’s got 7 ensuite bedrooms, a games room with a pool table and table football, a movie room/snug and a brilliant pool hall. Outside there’s a large courtyard with all-season grass, plenty of garden furniture, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and barbecue, and a firepit. What else could you need for a happy large group holiday?
Once upon a time Tickety-Boo was nothing more than a stable block on a working farm, so this is quite a staggering transformation. The hay and the horses are long gone of course, and their former home has been completely remodelled to bring something quite extraordinary to the large group holiday market. The design is impressive loft-style living with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the huge living/entertaining space upstairs where chunky timbers soar to the roof. Downstairs are the bedrooms, 6 in the main house, 1 self-contained across the courtyard. They’ve all got zip and link beds that can be super kings or twins and they’ve all got ensuite shower rooms, except for 1 which has its own bathroom.
The games room and movie room/snug are also on the other side of the courtyard, backing onto the pool hall. That’s an amazing space with one end giving an aspect of the fields and a curved roof window giving a view of the sky. It kind of feels like it’s underground, and what’s important is that it’s all yours for the whole of your stay. One end of the pool has a swim spa and hot tub built-in, the other end has a waterfall; there’s a huge TV on the wall and also in the room, a sauna. Relaxation guaranteed!
Tickety-Boo is set on a small estate on the borders of Somerset and Wiltshire, so if you decide to go out exploring you’ll find plenty to see and do within a short drive. Longleat is just down the road, Bath is about half an hour away, Frome and Stourhead are even closer, and there are lovely country pubs tucked away here, there and everywhere. If, on the other hand, you’re quite happy to stay put, we get it, we get it completely.
