Our Properties in Monmouthshire
Book your large group holiday in the UK somewhere quiet and peaceful, where the pace of life is slower, where you can completely unwind. Monmouthshire should do the trick; it’s a little off the beaten track so the roads tend to be quieter and the countryside is vastly unspoilt.
You’ll find pretty towns to spend a few hours pottering about in, like Usk, which has some of the best salmon fishing waters in the country; Abergavenny has earned itself a reputation as a mecca for foodies, and Chepstow is renowned for its castle and its racecourse where the Welsh Grand National is run. The county town, Monmouth, has the only medieval gated bridge in Britain, and with its good mix of shops and eateries and its brisk lively air, it’s a good place to mooch about. Dotted about the county are ancient castles to see, gardens to visit, and you shouldn’t miss Tintern Abbey at sunset.
If you’re the outdoorsy type then Monmouthshire is a dream, with heaps of opportunities for cycling, walking or pony trekking, and for more adventurous pursuits on the River Wye; kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. For something more sedate have a leisurely boat trip along the Mon & Brec Canal, or get on your walking boots and explore Offa’s Dyke at your own pace, or the wooded paths on the Wye Valley Walk, and for seriously wild get out into the Brecon Beacons for a day.
It will be a dream, it will be everything a holiday ought to be; just slow paced happy days and nights relaxing with your nearest and dearest on your large group holiday in Wales. Bring it on.
