Noise Monitors at Your Large Group Holiday House

Some of our luxury large group holiday houses have noise monitors in place. We’re always upfront about this, and if your chosen property has one, it’ll be clearly listed on the Facts A–Z page—so there are no surprises. This is also covered in the Terms & Conditions you agree to at the time of booking

These devices simply measure sound levels in certain areas, both inside and outside the property. They don’t record conversations or specific sounds. They’re there to help make sure everyone—especially nearby neighbours—can enjoy their surroundings, particularly in areas where noise needs to be kept in check.

While our houses are perfect for celebrations and time together, they aren’t set up as party venues. We kindly ask all guests to be mindful of noise, especially later in the evening. As a guide:

  • Please be considerate of neighbours at all times
  • Keep noise to a minimum after 11pm
  • Avoid music that can be heard from outside the property

If noise levels stay high for around 15 minutes, the owner or house manager may get in touch with a friendly reminder. Continued excessive noise could lead to further action, such as additional charges or, in rare cases, being asked to leave the property.

That said, most of our guests have a wonderful time without any issues at all. We want you to relax, have fun, and enjoy your stay!
