Dogs are allowed at Cockercombe but not at Ramscombe - so if you're booking both lodges together do bear this in mind. If you bring your furry friend to Cockercombe you'll be assured of ample dog walking opportunities, with plenty right on your doorstep amongst the beautiful Quantock Hills. You can opt for a gentle stroll through fields or along footpaths and forest trails, or aim for something more strenuous - perhaps a climb to Wills Neck, the highest point in the Quantocks, or to the iron age fort of Cockercombe Castle. The nearby Somerset coast has several dog friendly beaches and whilst some have seasonal restrictions, according to latest information, Brean, Berrow, Sand Bay and Kilve don't, so your pet pooch can happily run on the beach or go doggie paddling. Further afield are the scenic Somerset Levels, or Exmoor National Park where you can explore a diversity of scenery, from wooded valleys and fields, to clifftops and rugged moors.
Note: Two dogs are welcome at Cockercombe and must be added as a Chargeable Extra once you have completed your booking. This can either be done by calling the office on 01823 665500, or by logging into your booking and clicking on EXTRAS. A charge of £50 per dog will then be applied to the booking total.
