Pitmaston House offers luxury self-catering accommodation for large groups in Worcester; there's snooze space for 16 people in 8 ensuite bedrooms, with room for 10 more guests at an extra charge per person. This imposing house was built in Georgian times and is set back from the street behind a high stone wall; interiors are modern and sophisticated, blending perfectly with elegant original features. Inside there's an amazing games room and a snug/movie room; outside there's a 4m swim spa, a dining area with built-in seating, a bbq, pizza oven and firepit, outdoor table tennis and a ground level trampoline. This amazing house offers luxury togetherness for family holidays and celebrations, and for self-catering corporate hospitality and team building.

Pitmaston House is within easy reach of J6 and J7 of the M5, so it's a convenient base for exploring this part of the world. Worcester city centre is only a short drive away and is great for shopping or for a leisurely browse round one of the regular markets. Stroll round Gheluvelt Park, away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets, or if you're feeling adventurous have a go on the zip wire at Cripplegate Park.  Spend a few hours soaking up history and culture at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum, visit the ancient cathedral, or the quirky Greyfriar's House & Garden, once the home of a medieval merchant. If you want to eat out you'll have plenty of choice - G&T is great for afternoon tea, Benedicto's Italian Restaurant is hard to beat for pasta, pizza and Sunday roasts.

Nearby you'll find plenty of interesting activities and attractions - visit Eastnor Castle, Croome Court or Madresfield Court, the inspiration for Evelyn Waugh's 'Brideshead Revisited'. Have a tour of the factory at The Morgan Motor Company, or at Chase Distillery where gin and vodka are made from apples and potatoes grown on the family farm. If the great outdoors is calling get out into the glorious Malvern Hills and discover the wilds on foot, bike or horseback. Take a picnic or find a country pub for lunch, make time to stop and stare because the scenery is absolutely stunning.

Have a day out with the family at the West Midland Safari Park where you can drive through the African Plains and Elephant Valley, venture over to Stratford upon Avon, see the house where Shakespeare was born and take a tour of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Plan an excursion to the Cotswolds and pootle about the picturesque villages with their honey-coloured stone cottages and charming names, like Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water; see the beautiful Slad Valley, immortalised in Laurie Lee's 'Cider With Rosie'.

Ah, but if you just want to stay put at Pitmaston House, we get that because there's so much here to keep you all smiling. Whip up some in-house competition in the games room, settle down for a movie night or gather in the garden dining area; get the barbecue or the pizza oven fired up, snuggle round the firepit with wrapped in warm blankets. Whenever you fancy it, climb into the swim spa and have a good splash; you see, that's what Pitmaston House is all about, being together and enjoying yourselves. It's about making memories that are extra special; these are happy days indeed.

"10/10 - We loved every minute of our stay. Everyone was very helpful both pre and during our trip. We  are excited to make another booking for next year! We went for a lovely 20 minute walk to a beautiful pub for food - The Old Rectifying House."
