Holemoor Stables is set on a private estate off the beaten track in the beautiful South Somerset countryside. Accessed via security gates that open onto a tree lined avenue, this is a wonderful escape that’s hard to beat for family holidays and peaceful celebrations with your nearest and dearest. The layout is reminiscent of a Roman villa, with all accommodation on the ground floor, set around a central lawned and paved courtyard. In the main building is the open plan living/entertaining space and 6 of the ensuite bedrooms; the other 3 bedrooms and a small living area are in an adjacent annexe, and the games room and swimming pool are housed separately again. Interiors are modern throughout, with Travertine flooring, solid oak doors and furniture, and well co-ordinated furnishings. Light pours in through full height windows giving a bright, fresh and airy feel.

Right of the living space a corridor leads to Bedrooms 1-3; like all the bedrooms at Holemoor Stables these have zip and link beds (super king or twin). Bedroom 1 has an ensuite shower room, Bedrooms 2 and 3 have their own wet rooms. Left of the living space another corridor leads to Bedrooms 4-6; all with ensuite shower rooms. All bedrooms have wardrobes, black out blinds and TVs.
The annexe is self-contained, making it ideal for a family with young children or for older relatives who like to have their own space. There’s soft seating, a small kitchen, and Bedrooms 7-9; Bedroom 7 has its own bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, Bedrooms 8 and 9 both have ensuite wet rooms.
Across the lawned courtyard is the games room with a pool table, table tennis and table football; right next door is the pool hall with an adjoining wet room. Both have huge doors you can open wide to bring the sunshine in. Outside the main living space there’s a large patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue; this leads onto lawns where there’s play equipment for the little ones.
