Court Farm is a great place to stay for large group holidays in the country, especially if you’re the kind of folk who whilst you love catching up and spending time together, also appreciate your own space. What you’ll notice is how the pace of life slows down, allowing you to slip gently into your holiday as soon as you step through the secret door into the courtyard.

Straight ahead is The Cottage, sleeping 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Downstairs there’s an open plan living space with a kitchen and dining area to one side, and a lounge area with a woodburner to the other. Upstairs, Bedroom 1 has an ensuite bathroom and Bedroom 2 has an ensuite shower room; both rooms have vaulted ceilings supported by centuries old timbers. All beds at Court Farm are zip and link so you can have them arranged as super kings or twins.

Back downstairs a door leads from the kitchen into The Harvest Hall, an enormous vaulted entertaining room where you can all relax together, dine together and celebrate that special birthday or anniversary.  Light pours in through the French doors that open onto the courtyard; there are inviting sofas, a wall hung woodburner, and to one end a beautiful marble topped dining table that seats 14.

Just past an old fig tree next to The Harvest Hall is The Cider Barn which sleeps up to 4. There’s an open plan living space with a country style kitchen, dining area, and comfy seating with a woodburner. A rustic sliding barn door leads through to the bedroom (Bedroom 3) which has zip and link beds and 2 optional extra guest beds (charged); another barn door leads to the ensuite bathroom. From the bedroom there’s a door into The Dairy (Bedroom 4) which also has its own access to the side, so can be used as separate accommodation for 2, or with The Cider Barn to give more family space. The Dairy has an ensuite shower room.

Next to The Dairy is The Cow Byre (Bedroom 5), accessed from the courtyard. This is a large room with zip and link beds, plus 2 optional extra guest beds (charged), and an ensuite shower room. Interiors at Court Farm are a gorgeously eclectic mix of modern and practical, antique and vintage, mostly sourced from local shops and markets; it works so well with the historic fabric of the barns.

The central courtyard is very private, with gravelled paths and a large lawn. Get together for lazy days outdoors, have a barbecue or a picnic on the lawn, play croquet, boules and Giant Jenga; slip into the hot tub for a soak, spend evenings beneath the twinkly lights. Explore the grounds at Court Farm and say hello to the animals who live there, walk through the apple orchard, pick fruit in late summer. It’s all so idyllic at Court Farm, it’s a place to make very special memories. Book a stay today!
