Beaverbrook 20

Sleeps 20 in stunning 10 bedroom Somerset barn conversion, with indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and BBQ lodge. Up to 10 extra beds available at an extra cost per person. 3 cots at no extra charge.

Set amidst the beautiful South Somerset countryside, Beaverbrook 20 has seen a stunning transformation from 16th, 17th and 18th century barns on a working dairy farm to luxurious and spacious self catering holiday accommodation for up to 20 people in 10 ensuite bedrooms. The main building, The Old Granary Barn has bedrooms to sleep 8, and a huge open plan living space just perfect for happy gatherings; just across a pretty courtyard is The Tie Stalls, once a milking parlour, now lovingly converted into 6 ensuite bedrooms with capacity to sleep 12. There is additional capacity at Beaverbrook 20 to sleep up to 10 more people at an extra cost.

Beaverbrook 20 is well equipped and ultra-stylish, with a wonderful homely ambience, and there's plenty to keep you amused and entertained whatever your age; an awesome games room with an 8ft American pool table, US air hockey, table football and table tennis, or you can have the most indulgent time in the spa hall - and wow, it's terrific! A fantastic heated pool, a roomy sauna and a 3m super bubbly jacuzzi. Outside in the walled garden there's a cosy Nordic style BBQ lodge with twinkly lights, reindeer hides to keep you warm, and seating for 30 people. Tiny tots can have fun on the chunky play train, and there's a big patio with bespoke rustic benches and a barbecue. So you can all be outside together, relaxing and enjoying the fresh country air - just what relaxing holidays are made of!

Lord Beaverbrook owned the property during the war, but now Beaverbrook 20 has been in the same family for 3 generations. The barns still retain much character, built mostly of local Moolham stone, with interiors featuring exposed bricks, cast iron wall braces, and timber from the estate used for the oak beams, skirting boards and window sills. The Hamstone fire surround in the home cinema room is made from old gateposts found on the farm. It's such a wonderful blend of traditional charm with contemporary furnishings and modern luxury, including individual temperature control in each room.

Beaverbrook 20 is tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Cricket Malherbie in glorious rural surroundings. There are some lovely walks right from the doorstep and some quaint villages to explore where you can wind up with a relaxing pub lunch and a pint of local cider.
