Quantock Barns

A stunning complex of luxury barns sleeping 14 + 10, set at the foot of the Quantock Hills.

Don't forget your four legged friend when you come to Quantock Barns for your large group stay; this is a dog friendly property, with plenty of opportunities for walks of all lengths right on your doorstep. Head into the rugged and beautiful Quantock Hills where you'll find forest trails, tracks across wild heathland, and a network of footpaths over fields and wooded slopes. Walk from Nether Stowey to Over Stowey and back again, or from Cothelstone Manor to Cothelstone Hill; follow in the footsteps of the Lake Poets, Wordsworth and Coleridge, and explore the area around Holford and the surrounding combes, including Holford Glen, where a Huguenot silk factory once stood. How about finishing your walk at one of the dog friendly pubs in the area, and enjoying a lazy pub lunch and a pint of the local brew? Try the Bicknoller Inn at Bicknoller, the Blue Ball Inn at Triscombe, or the Ancient Mariner at Nether Stowey. You'll find some dog friendly beaches on the North Somerset coast - Stolford, Kilve, and Berrow (North and South beaches) where your pet pooch can run along the shore and paddle in the sea to his heart's content. Not far away are the mystical Somerset Levels where you can explore the ancient footpaths along the waterways, or climb to the top of Burrow Mump or Glastonbury Tor and admire the panoramic views across the glorious Somerset countryside. Lots of fun for you and your dog and bound to get that tail wagging! Happy holidays!
