Greenswangs House has been recently completed to a high design and build specification, with professional interior design with high quality fixtures and fittings. Built under a natural slate roof with rendered walls, and sandstone quoins and pedestals.
The house is in the style of a traditional Dumfriesshire farmhouse with all the benefits of modern luxury living, including underfloor heating, Wifi, flat screen digital television, DVD player, iPod speaker doc, dishwasher, washer and dryer.
The front sandstone porch leads you up a few steps to a wooden front door with window lights either side. A large solid wood floored hallway with hand-built oak staircase rising to the first floor, opens up onto a large and spacious living room with a south-facing bay window and pool table to keep the family entertained! A second lounge with 40" flat screen television, large corner sofa that has a sofa bed, (suitable for one adult or two small children), on request, with access to a ground floor shower room off the kitchen.
The kitchen has all the modern appliances, with wine store, American-style fridge freezer, and two double wall ovens... perfect for cooking up a feast! There is a large dining table that seats 12 easily for dinners and celebrations. There is a gorgeous conservatory with stunning views across the Solway Firth.
On the first floor there is a large Master bedroom with queen sized double bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in dressing room; a second large Master bedroom with king-sized bed (zip link can be either double or twin), and en-suite bathroom. Two further spacious bedrooms with double/twin beds (king size zip link beds can be either twin or double) can be found on the first floor sharing a stunning family bathroom.
Outside there is a lawned area to the front of the house continuing onto a gravelled patio area with garden furniture, gazebo and barbeque in the summer months. A lawn is located to the side of the house, perfect for children to play on, whilst the adults can enjoy a soak in the hot tub with spectacular views across to the Solway Firth.
