Crowcombe and Thorncombe are both dog friendly properties, which means you don't have to leave your four legged friend behind when you come here on holiday - great news! And if you enjoy getting out and about with your pet pooch, there's more good news, because there are heaps and heaps of wonderful walks right on your doorstep! The beautiful Quantock Hills offer a diversity of scenery with some of the most breath taking views across to the Blackdown and Mendip Hills, Exmoor, and Wales and the Severn estuary. There are also several dog friendly beaches within easy reach on the North Somerset coast - some have seasonal restrictions but according to latest information Brean, Berrow, Sand Bay and Kilve are accesible all year, so your dog can splash in the surf and run on the beach to their heart's content. If you fancy going further afield with your pet then Exmoor National Park has a diversity of scenery - rugged moors, wooded valleys and clifftops; whilst the Somerset Levels has a unique landscape of its own, or a climb to Glastonbury Tor will be rewarded with some stunning panoramic views.
