At Sleeps12 we appreciate that dogs are part of the family, and it can be heart wrenching to leave your furry friend in kennels when you go on holiday. Well, the good news is that Beaverbrook 20 welcomes well behaved dogs, so bring your pet along and he can join in the fun too. He's going to have the time of his life - Beaverbrook 20 is tucked away in a tiny hamlet surrounded by miles and miles of glorious countryside, with a plethora of footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes just waiting to be explored. Right on your doorstep is a delightful walk through the fields to the village of Dowlish Wake where you can take in the pretty cottages, sample some traditional Somerset cider, and enjoy a laid back pub lunch. If you go just a few miles to the market town of Chard you'll find a circular walk around a peaceful reservoir, or in Ilminster you can head up a track on a historic country estate and be in the fields within minutes, with a view that stretches for miles. You're spoilt for choice for places to walk your dog really, as Beaverbrook 20 is well situated for getting out onto the beautiful Blackdown Hills, the mystical Somerset Levels, or to the East Devon and world famous Jurassic coasts; you'll find several dog friendly beaches where your mutt can have a paddle - but bear in mind that there may be seasonal restrictions.
