Beaverbrook 20

Stunning 10 bedroom Somerset barn conversion, sleeping 20, with indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and BBQ lodge. Up to 10 extra beds available at an extra cost per person.

Set amidst the beautiful South Somerset countryside, Beaverbrook 20 has seen a stunning transformation from 16th, 17th and 18th century barns on a working dairy farm to luxurious and spacious self catering holiday accommodation for up to 20 people in 10 ensuite bedrooms. The main building, The Old Granary Barn has a huge open plan living space just perfect for happy gatherings, and bedrooms to sleep 8; just across a pretty courtyard is The Tie Stalls, once a milking parlour, now lovingly converted into 6 ensuite bedrooms with capacity to sleep 12. There is additional capacity at Beaverbrook 20 to sleep a further 10 people at extra cost.

Beaverbrook 20 has plenty to keep you amused and entertained whatever your age; there's a fabulous games room with a pool table and table tennis, or you can indulge yourself in the spa hall with its fabulous indoor heated pool, roomy sauna and sunken hot tub. Outside there's a fantastic Nordic style BBQ lodge with room for all, and a big patio with furniture and a barbecue, so plenty of delightful outdoor space for you to relax and enjoy the fresh country air.

Purchased from Lord Beaverbrook who owned the property during the war, Beaverbrook 20 has been in the same family for 3 generations. The barns still retain much character, built mostly of local Moolham stone, with interiors featuring exposed bricks, cast iron wall braces, and timber from the estate used for the oak beams, skirting boards and window sills; a wonderful blend of traditional charm with contemporary furnishings and modern luxury, including temperature controlled air conditioning throughout.

Beaverbrook 20 is tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Cricket Malherbie in glorious rural surroundings. There are some lovely walks right from the doorstep and some quaint villages to explore where you can wind up with a relaxing pub lunch and a pint of local cider. Close by is the little market town of Ilminster, where you can while away a few hours amongst the independent shops and cafes; not much further away are Taunton, Honiton and Exeter. Within easy reach are the beautiful Blackdown Hills and Exmoor National Park, as well as the famous Jurassic Coast.
