A Breath of Fresh Air
Bossington Beach, Somerset may be a shingle and pebble beach rather than sand but it's appeal lies in the dramatic landscape surrounding it. Edged by farmland and Exmoor this beach is part of the National Trust estate Holnicote. Best for long walks and watching the sunset over the water this beach is a gem.

If you are looking for a sandy cove and clear blue sea then Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire will float your boat! Unspoilt scenery dominates the view. It is a little walk to the beach from the nearest car park but it really is worth it. If you have a boat why not sail or motor round and stop there for the day.
