Brand Spanking New!

Who doesn't love shiny new things? We certainly do in the Group Stays office! We have been busy this week adding to our growing portfolio of properties. Have a little look thorough these beauties and let us know what you think!

The Peak District Holiday Barn

Situated in the heart of the Peak District this beautifully converted barn gets us buzzing with excitement. Stunning interior, the owner obviously has an eye for interior design, and full of lovely touches such as games, music system and wifi you’ll want to extend your stay.

The living space lends itself to family get together but also a range of corporate or educational stays. The owner welcomes such groups with open arms and can recommend a variety of outdoor activities such as walking, climbing and educational centres. Why not run a leadership mid week break with theory elements in the barn followed by practical sessions in the open air? It sounds pretty perfect to us.

Barlings Barn

Stunning, stunning, stunning. Terry and Fliss have been lovingly running Barlings Barn for over 30 years and have ensured that it is the ultimate destination. With an indoor pool, squash court, games room and childrens play room you’d be right in thinking these two have thought of everything to make your stay superb.

The Barn sleeps 16 people but two other properties sleep 8 and 4 respectively. Why not visit them for a multi generational family holiday or a wedding anniversary celebration?

We love the peaceful, rural setting and the ability to get out into Wales to have an adventure. You could book a survival session with Bear Grylls before coming back to relax in your spacious and centrally heated bedroom. Now that sounds particularly good to me!

The Beach House Exmouth

Emily in the office has a love for Exmouth and its sandy beach. She and her little boy have been going there for years in all weathers and at all times of the year. She even spent most of her childhood school summer holidays there building sandcastles and swimming in the sea so she is particulary enamoured about this extremely iconic property.

Exmouth is just about perfect for a proper holiday by the sea and the Beach House has it all. A short stroll from the house takes you staright to the sea front where you will find a wide range of activities on hand.

  • You could hire a bike and cycle along the promenade. Fantasic shop and bike hire from Bikelands, they really know what they are talking about. Give them a visit, Emily highly recommends them and their gorgeous bikes!
  • Visit the life boat station and find out all about the RNLI and their valuable work.
  • Build the biggest sandcastle ever!
  • Play beach volleyball
  • Try out a range of water sports

If the beach is not your 'thing' then you will love spending time in the well manicured gardens or in the hot tub overlooking the sea. In the summer months you will have access to an outdoor pool so why not have a garden party and a BBQ one evening. The Arts and Crafts setting is idyllic and a great backdrop for some of the most wonderful sun sets.

This really is an activity house so get booking if you have a sense of adventure and would like to explore the wider Devon area, you have everything you need for a fantastic holiday within 20 minutes of this stunning property. We have been charmed, we think you will be too.

With such a broad range of holiday accommodation at Group Stays we are confident that you will find just what you are looking for. If you know of other property owners who would love to advertise with us then please pass them our details, we have some great offers and can assure them we do all that we can to market their properties!
